5 Stylish Ideas for January 2018
I don’t know about you all, but my feelings about winter go pretty much like this every year:
November: Ooh, that chilly, crisp air, those foggy mornings, sweater weather, yay!
December to January 1st: Smiling at the snowflakes outside, bundled up under a soft blanket, book in hand.
January 2nd: ….. are you kidding me, can we just get to summer already??!
So ok, we’re still saddled with another couple of months of drab, grey, rainy, windy weather. But the good part is that now is a great time to take advantage of that New Year energy to step up our style game!
There are countless looks and trends to try out in the upcoming months (hello, January sales!), so here’s a little inspo to help get you started. Glitter all the way
Glitter and sequins are huge for AW17/18! So why not have a bit of fun with them, and walk the line between classy and edgy? Glittery dresses, sweaters or even just nails are sure to put a smile on your face when the weather isn’t!
Ultra Violet breeze
Pantone’s 2018 colour also happens to be a favorite of mine. You can use Ultra Violet for a punch of vibrancy, or you can layer it in a more breezy, translucent fabric for an ethereal vibe. Slip a velvety, ruby coloured dress underneath an organza cardigan and complete the texture trifecta with a furry coat. Boho-chic is not just for summer!
Crimson love
Red has been everywhere this winter, and the good part is that you won’t need to forget about your cherry coloured pieces come spring. There’s always a way to incorporate this rich shade in your look, whether it’s through a big, bold coat or a plush matte lipstick!
On the fringe
Not so plain plaid
I hope you liked my suggestions for fun winter 2018 trends and stylish ways to wear them. Now I’d be super happy to hear if you tried any of my ideas and what you thought of them!

Always a good choice to have a bit of glitter in the wardrobe. Love the Crimson and Plaid as well. Looks like plaid is here to stay this year.

Hahah, that’s true, a bit of glitter can’t hurt! Plaid is indeed quite popular this year, and I’m really happy about it- it holds a lot of creative potential

I used to be so into clothes. Not so much anymore because my lifestyle doesn’t require it. I still love looking at them! Thanks for the opportunity.

It’s fun to see what you have in mind. Happy to check out what you are up to. I am very into yoga pants now!!! HA! I did step it up yesterday when attending my niece’s concert. I wore a pink velvet top. I’m loving the return of the bell sleeves. Loved them the first time around and enjoying them once again!
