5 Jewelry Trends to Look Out For in 2018
Trends come and trends go, but when you find one that fits your style to a T? Well then, that’s love, my friends! And your baubles make no exception- so see below my top 5 jewelry trends to look out for in 2018:
Pearls, pearls, pearls!ย
Designers are favoring pearls (real or fake) big time this season! And they’ve started popping up everywhere from the classic necklace to earrings, to hair accessories, to coats, jackets and boots:
Mismatched earringsย
This trend is huge, and it just so happens to be a favorite of mine since before it was cool. The easiest way to pull it off is the cuff earring+ stud combination, but you can always go for others!
Just picture a dangling peacock feather+ a large onix round earring. Or a gemstone chandelier earring+ its drop counterpart with a matching gemstone. Simply gorgeous!
Cuff’em!ย
Another ultimate favorite of mine are cuff bracelets- nothing can make you feel like a warrior princess more than a sturdy cuff on your wrist. And luckily, the fashion world seems to think the same this year. Leather, precious metals or even broad filigree ones can grace your hands in 2018:
Life in plasticย
Seems fantastic in 2018! And for spring & summer plastic is quite fun- just think festival jewelry, not boss chic. Plastic baubles can be great for injecting some colour into your outfits- but if you want a more mature and sophisticated look, they probably won’t be your go to’s.
Floral eveythingย
You guys know how much I love florals, and that I wear them no matter the time of the year. Which is why I’m delighted to incorporate even more of them this year in my accessories. And who can say no to some pretty floral hair decorations?

These were my top 5 jewelry trend recommendations for the current year, and the ones I have no hesitation incorporating into my looks. Which one caught your eye, I’m curious to know?
